Services will be held at San Jose Funeral Home-East, 10950 Pellicano Dr., 79935, (915) 590-8700. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of The Light Catholic Church on Delta, November 20, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery Wednesday, 20, 2024 at 11:30 a.m.

Dolores Alonzo 71 of El Paso, Texas, passed away at Sierra Hospital on November 9th 2024, after battling liver disease.

Dolores was a graduate of El Paso High School and was a diehard Tiger and Dallas Cowboy fan.

Dolores was predeceased by her parents Luis and Aurelia Alonzo and brother Luis Alonzo Jr. Dolores Alonzo known to most as Guera, and to others Mother Goose. She is survived by sisters, Gloria and Yvette Alonzo and Carmen Ceniceros as well as several nieces and nephews and God children. Although she did not have children of her known she took care of all nephews and nieces plus more. She loved unconditionally and was most caring person in the world.

A huge Thank you to all the Doctors and nurses that cared for her throughout her ordeal. Especially all the nurses in the ICU.

In Loving Memory of our Beloved Delia Montes Delia Montes, age 92, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she is survived by her four sons, eleven grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandchildren. Delia was the heart of her family—a quiet force of love and loyalty. She was a beautiful mix of strength and softness—stern when needed, but always leading with unconditional love. Her presence was steady, her heart vast, and her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
