Flora Avina, entered into eternal rest on March 3rd, 2024, at the age of 85 in her hometown of El Paso, TX. Born on October 26th, 1938, she lived a life characterized by devotion to her family and faith.
 A woman of deep faith and traditional values, Flora was a pillar in her family, offering unwavering support and love. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as sowing, cooking and prayer, which she used as ways to express her love and care for those around her. Her delicious meals, especially during the holidays, were a source of comfort and celebration for her family and friends.

 Floras legacy of faith, compassion and love is carried on by her surviving family members: Chiledren, Maria Avina, Norma Avina Garcia, Jose Luis Avina, her brother Miguel Rocha, , her beloved eight grandchildren, Estefania Astrid Arballo, Enrique de Jesus Garcia, Jose Arath, Arballo, Brianna Marie Avina, Julian Maximus Garcia, Jose Alejandro Arballo, Isabella Marie Avina, and Jose Luis Aviña Jr.

She is preceded in passing by her parents Refugio Rocha and Maria de Jesus Calderon.

The arrangements for her funeral have been entrusted to San Jose Funeral Home in El Paso, TX,

March 11th Visitation 4-8 pm

March 12th Mass 10 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church
