Leonel Frias, aged 77, passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 23, 2024 at home. He was born on June 8, 1946 in Delicias, Chih, Mexico. Leonel was a beloved ex-husband of Ana Maria Delgado; thus, he was a cherished father of Ana Karime, Joey, Leonel Jr, Liliana, and Homero. Beloved by his daughter-in-laws: Laura, Tanya, and Esmeralda and son-in-law Edwin.

Throughout his life, Leonel was known for his kindness, generosity, and dedication to his family He loved his retirement by enjoying life - dancing, traveling, and spending time on the beach. He spent a vast amount of time traveling in his retirement enjoying life with family and friends. 

He spoiled his grandkids, Gianni, Danny, Eva, Mia, Melony, Kalen, Seth, Izar, Karla, Estevan, and Irene, with his loving attention and all the candies they could eat, when visiting him. His memories will live in our hearts and the grandkids will miss his warm and loving embrace.  

Leonel will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who know him. He is survived by his sisters- Oliva & Elizabeth, brothers- Waldo, Sergio, and Edgar. Leonel had a good sense of humor.  He spent his time singing, laughing, even on a hard day. He would always know what to say to make you smile. 

Our father was a friend, brother, father, uncle and son. Thus, he was a role model to all.

A memorial service to celebrate Leonel life will be on March 29, 2024, San Jose Funeral Homes 10950 Pellicano Dr, El Paso, TX 79935. Viewing from 4:00pm-8:00pm with Rosary from 7:00pm-8:00pm.

May he rest in peace, and his legacy will live on through his children and grandkids.
