New Paragraph

It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we, The Rangel Family,

Our dad, Gonzalo “Nick” Rangel, while small in stature, lived large and bold. By example, he taught us the value and dignity of a hard day’s work. From a parking lot operator to businessman and founder of the G & R restaurant since 1960, his work ethic, not only blessed him with great success, but also with a loving family. He is survived by his and ex-wife, Irene Rangel, his children, Bonnie Rangel, Patricia Robinson and Nick Rangel, his grandchildren, Justin Robinson, Brianna Rangel and Gabriella Rangel Hall. His pall bearers are his lifelong friends and Tigers from El Paso High (“La High”) Louie Arenas, Henry Morales, Eddie Torres, Ray Marquez, and his son, Nick Rangel and grandson, Justin Robinson. Honorary pallbearer is Pipo Barragan. His children, Patricia Robinson and Nick Rangel will carry on the legacy of our dad, at Gonzalo’s G & R Restaurant.

May our dad be driving around the heavens, shopping at Walmart, looking down upon us, taking care of us still………We love you, Dad!!!

Funeral Mass to be held Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at Saint Patrick Cathedral at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Memorial Pines Cemetery at 11:30 AM.

In Loving Memory of our Beloved Delia Montes Delia Montes, age 92, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she is survived by her four sons, eleven grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandchildren. Delia was the heart of her family—a quiet force of love and loyalty. She was a beautiful mix of strength and softness—stern when needed, but always leading with unconditional love. Her presence was steady, her heart vast, and her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
