Manuel S. Martinez, 93, Eldest son of Ambrosio and Francisca Martinez born on September 19, 1931 in El Paso, Texas, passed away on November 17, 2024. As a lifelong resident and third generation El Pasoan his youth was full of dancing and singing. His work as a carpenter took him across the United States and eventually to Kansas City where he watched his first NFL game and started to support the Kansas City Chiefs, which led to his nickname "Indio". As an avid sports fan he attended many sporting events from boxing to Negro League baseball games. He is preceded in death by his wife Gloria R. Martinez, Brothers Jose and Ambrosio Jr. Sister Guadalupe. He is survived by his children Frances, Martha, Yolanda, Manuel Jr., Irene, David, Ruben, and Gloria; his sisters, Mary Ellen and Antonia. Additionally, he was a grandfather to 19 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Services will be held in El Paso, TX at 10 a.m. at St. Mark's Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetary.

In Loving Memory of our Beloved Delia Montes Delia Montes, age 92, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she is survived by her four sons, eleven grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandchildren. Delia was the heart of her family—a quiet force of love and loyalty. She was a beautiful mix of strength and softness—stern when needed, but always leading with unconditional love. Her presence was steady, her heart vast, and her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
