New Paragraph

Longtime resident of El Paso, TX, went to eternal rest with our Lord on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at the age of 70.

Felipe was born October 5th, 1953 in Juarez, Mexico. He immigrated to the US in the third grade and eventually went on to attend Austin High School and El Paso Tech School where he pursued his love of electronics. During his time in the US, he would frequently visit California where he discovered a number of interests and passions and made life-long friends.

Felipe had a unique knack for fixing just about anything from cars to appliances to clothing to electronics to computers and everything in between. Felipe became one of the original IBM’ers, something which gave him much pride throughout his life. He never came across a PC he could not fix. He was selfless and would share his many gifts with others. Felipe loved telling jokes and was further loved for his ability to bring laughter and joy to everyone he met.

He is survived by Jo Ann Villanueva, his son Kris Charles Villanueva, and daughter Jeni Marie Villanueva. Preceded in death by his parents Teresa Aguilar and Ramon M. Villanueva. He has two siblings, Teresa Zambrano and Estela Gonzalez.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 12, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with a recitation of the rosary at 11:30 a.m. at San Jose Funeral Home-East, 10950 Pellicano Dr., 79935 (915) 590-8700. Interment at 2:00 p.m. at Mount Carmel Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Kris Charles Villanueva, Jason Valles, Erik Valles, Jorge O. Rodriguez, Eddie Ramirez, and Armando Trejo, with honorary pallbearer Jeni Marie Villanueva.

Felipe was deeply loved and will be eternally missed.
