With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Socorro Aranda Urquidi, at the age of 83. Sukie, as she was known, passed away at home with her daughters, son-in-law, and husband by her side. She was born in Presidio, Texas on April 2, 1941, and moved to El Paso as a toddler. She was preceeded in death by her parents Feliciano and Leandra Aranda; sisters, Elva Melendez, Eva Estrella, and Manuela Garcia. Sukie is survived by her husband of 34 years, Jesus, "Chuy," Urquidi and her daughters, Sylvia Molina Alvarez, Patricia Molina Courtney (Michael), and Norma Aranda Guerra (Carlos). Her surviving siblings; Belia Aranda, Guadalupe Villarreal, and Elias Aranda. She had seven grandchildren; Andrea and Aaron Alvarez, Leandra, Jacob, and Justin Courtney, Meagan Rowsick, and Brian Guerra. Sukie was blessed with eleven great- grandchildren and one on the way, Benjamin. She worked for over twenty years at Farah and then became a happy homemaker and avid shopper when she married Chuy. Sukie was very strong throughout her life and fought bravely against cancer at the end. She loved life with her husband and made it a priority to be with him as long as she could.

In Loving Memory of our Beloved Delia Montes Delia Montes, age 92, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she is survived by her four sons, eleven grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandchildren. Delia was the heart of her family—a quiet force of love and loyalty. She was a beautiful mix of strength and softness—stern when needed, but always leading with unconditional love. Her presence was steady, her heart vast, and her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
