Mamie Lee (Campbell) Johnson was born June 30, 1928 in Fayetteville, North Carolina to Worth Campbell and Atlanta Mickinna. She was one of 14 children.

Mamie was a devoted member of the church from early childhood and serviced in the church the church in various capacitates throughout her life.  She worked out of Fort Bliss laundry until she retired after 29 years.

Mamie married Efestes Bain and had their only child Billie Duncan. She is survived by two of her sisters Mattie Ludine Campbell and Hazel McAllister. She is also survived by grandchild John H. Duncan Jr., and Francis M. McCleary, great grandchildren: Dante A. Geene, Katy Van Tassel, Alex Lane, Corbin Duncan, D’Marcus Duncan, Sarah Duncan, Great great grandhildern: Leah Van Tassel, Aithan W. Lane, Ana Greene, Luka Koehler, and Isaiah Koehler,

Mamie was a beautiful soul, she had strength, courage, and a generous spirit. She will be so very missed by her family and friends. She was truly a blessing to us All.

Visitation for Mamie will be held at San Jose Funeral Home East on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 8:00pm. Funeral Service will be held at visitors Chapel AMC Church ( 518 N. Estrella Ave, El Paso Texas 79903) on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at 1:00 pm with final resting place at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.

In Loving Memory of our Beloved Delia Montes Delia Montes, age 92, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she is survived by her four sons, eleven grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandchildren. Delia was the heart of her family—a quiet force of love and loyalty. She was a beautiful mix of strength and softness—stern when needed, but always leading with unconditional love. Her presence was steady, her heart vast, and her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
